MaryAnn Fittro Obituary

MaryAnn (Pallazola) Fittro, 82, of Gloucester, MA passed away after a brief battle with cancer early Wednesday morning, April 17, 2024.

MaryAnn was born and raised in Gloucester, MA. She had many jobs but the one she was proudest of and excelled at the most was motherhood.

She was married to her best friend Francis, and they travelled the world and made lasting memories before he was taken too soon.

MaryAnn had a wonderfully large and beautiful family filled with so many cousins, her sisters -in-law, Jane, Carol, Patricia, and Jane; nieces, nephews, and friends who she loved with her whole heart.

She is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Ann-Marie and Michael Stanton as well as her loved grandchildren, Samuel, Benjamin and Mia Stanton of South Yarmouth, MA. She also leaves behind her adored "little" brother, Vincent and his wife Jane Pallazola of Gloucester, MA.

She was predeceased by her father, Gaspar and mother, Grace Pallazola as well as her beloved husband, Francis Fittro and her brother, Joseph Pallazola.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Ann's Church, Holy Family Parish on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester.

A visitation will be held prior to the Mass in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester on Wednesday, April 24, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her name to St. Ann's Church, Holy Family Parish, 60 Prospect Street, Gloucester, MA 01930.
