We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Michael Leavitt (Gloucester, Massachusetts), born in Worcester, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leavitt and Irma Leavitt (Ashley); and his sister Marion Stone (Leavitt). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Leavitt (Benjamin); his children, Karen Thompson (Leavitt) and Robert Leavitt (JoAnn); and his grandchildren, Zoe and Harry Leavitt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Michael's memory may be made to the Joseph and Michael Leavitt Scholarship Fund at Clark University, 950 Main Street, Worcester MA 01610; LEAP for Education, 35 Congress Street, Suite 102, Salem, MA, 01970; or a charity of the donor's choice.

“Dear levitt family, i was so sorry to hear about michael's passing. Although i know that his last year was painful to behold, i am sure that his passing is still a shock and source of great grief. I remember well the many hours we spent together on good harbor beach, the wonderful friendship that was shared with my parents, his open-invitation to my children to pick blueberries at your lovely home, and his pride and love for his own children and grandchildren.
