Michael P. Squires Obituary
Michael P. Squires, 67, of Gloucester, passed away at home on Monday, April 11, 2022. Michael was born in Malden, MA on August 24, 1954, and was the son of the late Donald and Toby (Vexter) Squires.
He graduated from Malden High School and then continued to earn his bachelor's degree from University of Mass at Amherst. He was employed by Boston Duck Tours as a duck boat driver for over 20 years. He spent time playing his guitar and was an avid listener of talk radio, as well as enjoying boating.
He is survived by his brother, Howard Squires and his wife Elda; his niece, Kimberly Mahoney; great- nieces, Hannah Rose Mahoney and Sarah Elizabeth Mahoney all of Wenham; his many wonderful friends including Kathlyn Valianti, her daughter, Katie and coworkers at Boston Duck Tours.
Services will be held privately. Anyone wishing to donate in Mike's memory may do so to his favorite childhood camp, which was near and dear to his heart at, Kingswood (camp scholarship) 104 Wildwood Road, Bridgton, ME 04009. In the memo, please state for Michael Squires.
