Patricia A. Travers Obituary
Patricia (Pat) Ann Travers of Gloucester, formerly of St. Joseph, MN and Clearwater, MN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.
Patricia was born on April 16, 1960, in Beverly, MA. She moved to Minnesota at age 13, where she later raised two children. In 2019, Patricia was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. During her treatment, she decided she wanted to return to Cape Ann where her story began. Patricia had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her many friends, whether it was on a boat with her friends Deb & Paula, grabbing lunch with her dear friend Aileen, or sharing laughs with her cousin Dana. In Minnesota, she spent her time with the "Fab 4", a group of friends she met while working at Clearview Elementary School.
Before her diagnosis, Pat was the Senior Front End Manager at Coborn's Grocery in St. Joseph, MN and took great pride in her work. She loved working with the college-aged staff and the endless customers that would come in.
Pat adored her two Italian Greyhounds, Tango and Samson, who have passed. She would go to "iggy meetups" and loved being around the dozens of dogs in attendance.
The light of her life were her two grandsons, Wyatt (8) and Finnley (3) of Minnesota.
She is survived by her children, Jessica (Garrett) Booth of Sauk Rapids, MN, and Justin (Danielle) Skoog of Sartell, MN; her grandsons, Wyatt & Finnley; her brother, Michael (Peggy) Travers of Coon Rapids, MN; her sister, Christine Travers (Alwyn Velazquez) of Gloucester, MA; her brother, Robert Moore of Malaga, Spain; and her nephew, James (Rachel) Travers of St. Joseph, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sandra (Lauranzano) and Donald Travers; and her grandparents, Elizabeth (Salo) and Gilbert Travers.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to East Coast Italian Greyhound Rescue or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
