He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert P. Riley and Dorothy A. Riley (Day); his grandson Gabriel Riley; his sister Roberta Seppala; and his parents-in-law, Lillian and Philip Drohan.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Riley (Drohan) of Gloucester; his children, Keri De Haan (Joe) of Gloucester, Shaun Riley of Maine and Kevin Riley (Marlena) of Gloucester; his grandchildren, Dylan De Haan of Gloucester, Logan, William, Benjamin, Garrett, Declan Riley of Maine, Colton and Colby Riley of Gloucester; his siblings, Patricia Thibodeau (Mike) of Gloucester, Donna Mateus (Herbie) of Virginia Beach, VA and Donald Riley (Joanne) of Gloucester; his aunts, Patricia Riley and Mary Alice Wilson; his uncle William "Bill" Riley; and his siblings-in-law, Sally Brown (Ivan) and Michael Drohan (Frann). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester will be held on Tuesday, November 24, from 3:00 to 6:00 p. m. All attendees are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing. His service will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be in his name to the Gloucester Football Athletic Association, P.O. Box 3010, Gloucester, MA 01930.
