She was the devoted wife of Giuseppe Lucido of Gloucester, Massachusetts, and the proud, loving mother of her two "vitas", Angela Lucido Keithahn and her husband Brit Keithahn of Madison Lake, Minnesota, and Letizia Lucido and her husband Jonathon Penfold of Gloucester, Massachusetts.
Rosa is also survived by her devoted siblings: Pietro DiMercurio and his partner Carlos Borges of Gloucester, Antonio DiMercurio and his wife Lisa DiMercurio of Danvers, and Marianna Angela DiMercurio of Gloucester. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews Angelica Milano and husband Dan Milano and great nephews Nicholas and Jason Milano of Burlington, Joseph DiMercurio and his partner Hannah Beecy of Danvers, Tiandra Morris and her husband Rich Morris and great nephew Mathias Morris of Ipswich, and Patrick Borges and his wife Dianah of Peabody. She was also a devoted godmother and best friend to Mariella LoContro and her husband Peter LoContro and their children Piera and Ezio.
Rosa's love for her family and friends was truly extraordinary. The kindness and affection she showed others throughout her life were returned to her many times over, especially in her final days. Her warmth, generosity, joyful spirit, and especially her spectacular cooking will be remembered and celebrated by all who were fortunate enough to leave her home with a full heart and full stomach.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Rosa's life will be held at Saint Ann's Church, 60 Prospect Street, Gloucester, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11 A.M.
