Rosalie G. Parco Obituary
Rosalie G. (Linquata) Parco, 95, of Gloucester wife of the late Anthony P. Parco passed away peacefully at home with family on Sunday morning, January 16, 2022, at her residence.
She was born in Gloucester on November 4, 1926, daughter of the late Leonard Linquata and Anne (Favaloro) Linquata.
Rosalie was a graduate of Gloucester High School which was the first graduating class. She later attended Catherine Dell School, receiving her secretarial certificate. Rosalie was a lovely lady who took pride in dressing perfectly for every occasion and she loved her weekly meetings with her "club girls".
She enjoyed traveling and wintered in Florida for many years. Rosalie was an avid cribbage player, playing on the Magnolia league and at the Senior Center.
Rosalie was well loved by all and will be truly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Maria Churchill and her husband Arthur, Ann Parco Molloy and her partner David Pleiman; sons, Salvatore "Sandy" Parco and his wife Mary, Leonard Parco and partner Stephen Keokhanthachone and Anthony "TJ" Parco Jr.; her sister, Julia Scandalito; her brother, Michael Linquata and his wife Lillian; grandchildren, Jonathan Churchill and his wife Jessica and their children, Maxwell, Maya, Bryce, Cameron and Kyriah, Elizabeth Moran and her husband Rob and their children, Kellen, Tyler and Maeve, Amiee Parco and her children, Delia and Spencer, Rebecca Colangelo and her husband Marc and their children, Bella and Mateus, Anthony Parco and his son Landon, Nicholas Parco, Jeffrey Parco and his wife Abigail and their daughter, Cecilia, Abbey Parco, Thomas Molloy and his wife Katelin; sister-in-law, Mary Parco.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Anita Curcuru and Marianne McCollum; sisters-in-law, Mary Frontiero, Gerolama "Gerry" Lovasco, Ida Bammarito, Carmella Scola and brother-in-law, Joseph Parco.
Visiting hours in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Ann' Church, Holy Family Parish on Thursday, January 20, at 9:30 a.m. All attendees are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing during both visiting hours and at Mass. The burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester.
