Sydnee Ann Trimberger Obituary
Sydnee Ann Trimberger, age 11, passed peacefully in her sleep on January 26, 2026, after a courageous fight with Juvenile Huntington's Disease. Born on June 8, 2014, Sydnee was sweet, fun, loving, and sassy—and she filled every moment of her life with joy, laughter, and love.
There was never a dull moment with Sydnee. She had a vibrant personality and a heart that touched everyone she met. Sydnee gave the best hugs—everyone knew that after receiving a "Sydnee hug," you always felt better. She loved telling jokes, making people laugh, and eavesdropping on her big sister's phone calls, always curious and amused by the world around her.
Sydnee absolutely loved playing Uno and proudly reigned as the Uno champion, beating everyone she played. She especially enjoyed teaming up with her sister, Summer, laughing together as they took on their competition. Sydnee had a sharp wit and an understanding of humor far beyond her years.
Sydnee also had a strong interest in dinosaurs. She would excitedly ask everyone she met which dinosaur was their favorite and could proudly share facts about all of them. Her curiosity and enthusiasm were infectious, and she loved teaching others what she knew.
Each morning before attending West Parish Elementary School in Gloucester, MA, Sydnee shared a cherished routine. When asked, "Who's in charge of the day?" she would confidently point to herself. When asked what kind of day she was going to have, she'd give a thumbs up or say "good.". Before heading inside, she would kiss a hand and say, "I love you"—a moment now held forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
Sydnee is survived by her loving mother, Emily White; her sister, Summer Trimberger; her grandfather, Richard Attridge and step-grandmother, Rose Attridge; Aunt Chris and Uncle Phil Nickola and their daughters Haley and Riley, of Brentwood, NH; Uncle Erick Attridge, partner Bridgette Barry, and daughter Sadie Franklin, of Gloucester, MA; and Uncle Greg and Aunt Jessica Attridge and their sons Gregory and Zachary, of Haverhill, MA.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John David Trimberger; her father, Dallas Trimberger; and her grandmother, Patricia Attridge.
Visitation will be held on February 7, 2026, from 12:00 PM–2:00 PM in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester, MA 01930. In honor of Sydnee and her love for the color blue, the family welcomes guests to wear blue in her memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sydnee's memory to Ebrahimi-Fakhari Laboratory - Sydnee's neurology team that is researching for cures and Victoria's Victory Foundation that so generously provided a scholarship that funded Sydnee's mobility chair. A GoFundMe has also been set up to help to offset the overwhelming medical costs: https://gofund.me.
