Theresa B. MacIntosh Obituary
Theresa B. (McIntosh), MacIntosh 75, of Gloucester, MA., passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Monday, April 15, 2024, following a courageous battle against cancer. Theresa was born in Gloucester on October 3, 1948. The daughter of the late Jane (Adamowicz) and Charles Vincent McIntosh.
Theresa grew up in the town of Gloucester. Was a graduate of Gloucester High School. She was always known as a comedian and loved to make people laugh. "TC" as she was known to most, worked for liberty mutual in Boston and at Lepage's Glue factory in Gloucester. All before she met her ex-husband Edward MacIntosh of 12yrs in 1973 and became a mother to her only son. Later in life she drove a small bus for Council on aging out of Manchester by the sea. She then stayed home and took care of her late father for over 20years. Theresa enjoyed spending time every day with her dog Biscuit. She loved and cared for all animals, as well as her late dog Pitch. She enjoyed watching stock car and motorcycle racing, music, reading, photography, and family game nights. She had fought and beat a few types of cancers over the years.to unfortunately have one return these last 2 years of her life.
She is survived by her son Nathan MacIntosh and his wife Pamela MacIntosh of Kennebunk ME. Pamela's two children Nathan Fourtzialas and Arianna Fourtzialas-Price of Kennebunk, ME. Also surviving are her sisters Sandra Kelly of Bradenton, FL, Mary Ann Urella and her husband Micheal of Worcester, MA, and Kathy McIntosh of Gloucester. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews and many devoted friends. She was preceded in death by her lifelong best friend Roberta Seppala of Lanesville, MA.
A Graveside Service will be held at Calvary Cemetery, 165 Eastern Ave., Gloucester, on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 11a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Cape Ann Animal Aid, 4 Paws Lane, Gloucester, MA 01930 This holds a special place in her heart.
