He was predeceased by: his wife Tracy Nelson (Magill); his sisters, Carol Toscano (Nelson) and Karen Marie Nelson; and his parents, Olive Nelson (Butt) and Carl Nelson.
He is survived by: his son Daniel Nelson; and his siblings, Edward Nelson (Donna) and Jean Villa (James). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
