He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Sheldon and Louise Sheldon (Palmer). He is survived by: his wife Erika; his children, David Sheldon (Patricia) of Concord and Heidi Fortune (Alvin) of Bedford; his grandchildren, Karilyn Calvert (Dustin) of Boscawen, Kathryn McKillop (David) of Concord, Alvin Trent Fortune, Jr. and Erika Fortune; his great grandchildren, Matilda McKillop, David McKillop (DJ) and Marcus Calvert; and his brother Howard P. Sheldon of Fort Myers, FL..
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home (426 Main St, Great Barrington, MA 01230). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (251 Main St, Great Barrington, MA 01230). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lee Memorial Cemetery.
