She is survived by: her close friend James Bernoi; her children, Arthur, Terri, Sherri, Rebecca and Bonnie; her grandchildren, Amber, Nicole (Dan), Warren (Pj), Todd (Tabitha), Anica, Austen, Elyssa, Samantha, Troy, Penelope, Alistair, Arthur and Cecilia; her great grandchildren, Rachel Bossen, Savannah, Brianna, Ryan, Hannah and Joseph; and her siblings, Patricia Kendell and Gary Gop.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Joanne's memory may be made to either SBVAS or The Marian Helpers.
