With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John T. Tossavainen Sr. of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Toivo R. Tossavainen and Ann Tossavainen (Skorput); his former wife Joanne C. Tossavainen; and his brother Toivo Tossavainen. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; and his children, Cathy Langenback, Phillip Payer, Jeffrey Murphy, Thomas Tossavainen, Brett Payer and John Tossavainen, Jr..
