We bid farewell to Lois Jean Rose (Great Barrington, Massachusetts), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 29, 2025 at the age of 87. Lois touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fredrickson and Gertrude Fredrickson; her brother George M. Fredrickson; her son Stephen F. Rose; and her sister-in-law Helene Fredrickson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Rose Forfa (William) and Amy Rose (Chris Pirie); her daughter-in-law Denise Morgan; her grandchildren, Erin (Matt), David (Nicky), Gregory (Michelle), Sarah Forfa (Ben Ashley), August, Alexander Rose, Nat Spink (Sam Curtis Lindsay), Kaya and Jessie Pirie; and her great grandchildren, Zoey, Ava, Ian, Theodore and June. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Congregational Church in Great Barrington, your local United Church of Christ church, Greenpeace, Human Rights Watch, Southern Berkshire Construct or the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.
