Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Theresa Ann (Kot) Macchi of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 98, on June 6, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Kot and Kathryn Kot (Zajac); her son Silvio P. Macchi Jr.; and her siblings, William Kot, Amelian Kot, Stanley Kot, Joe Kot, Adella Lynch, Helena Love, Sophie Wetmore and Mary Biasin.
She is survived by: her husband Silvio P. Macchi Sr.; her daughters, Rosemary Baumann (Rose) of Great Barrington, Kathryn Macchi (Kady) of Great Barrington and Elizabeth Macchi (Lizzie) of Ashley Falls; her brother John Kot of Great Barrington; her grandchildren, Rachael Armstrong, Brittany Cooley, Lauren Molk, Crystal Bernard, John Litchfield and Sammantha North; her great grandchildren, Devin North, Amber Ryan, Renee Ryan, Jeffrey Ryan, Lily Bernard, Clare Cooley, Charlotte Cooley and Easton Armstrong; and her great great grandchild Nina Baudry. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their spouses and family pets.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Birches-Roy Funeral Home (33 South St, Great Barrington, MA 01230). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Peter's Church (213 Main St, Great Barrington, MA 01230).
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Theresa's memory may be made to Saint Peter's Church in care of the funeral home.
