He was predeceased by : his parents, Yvonne Payant (Chagnon) and James A. Payant; and his grandson Michael Woods. He is survived by : his wife Diane Payant of Greenfield, MA.; his son David A. Payant (Marcia) of Greenfield, MA.; his brothers, Robert D. Payant and John A. Payant; and his granddaughter Jillian Betters. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
