She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond D. Shippee and Margaret Shippee (Bahr). She is survived by: her husband Dr. Mark Purinton; her children, Laurel Kearns of Roanoke, VA and Larch Purinton of Rocky Hill, CT; and her grandchildren, Andrew Kearns and Willow Kearns.
