He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence O'Brien and Louise O'Brien (Bowen); his siblings, Bernie O'Brien and Nancy O'Brien Forrest; and his niece Kim.
He is survived by: his children, Katrina (Sasha) and Ethan (Bonnie); his brothers, Dexter (Joyce) and C. Ethan (Diana); his former wife Marilyn (John); his siblings' children, John, David, Matt, Mike, Mark, Sean, Chris, Cathy, Linda and Melinda; his granddaughters, Clara and Esther; and his family, Nate Deno, Melody, Megan, Jill, Cindy and Carrie.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the North River Cemetery (98 Jacksonville Rd, Colrain, MA 01340).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, or your favorite local animal shelter in his honor.
