With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Geraldine Wheeler (Greenfield, Massachusetts), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Geraldine had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Geraldine may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Mazanec and Edna Mazanec (Dunbar); her husband Harold Wheeler; and her brother William Mazanec. She is survived by: her children, Guy Wheeler (Debbie) of Colrain and Paula King (Charlie) of Plainfield. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 4 gr. gr. grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hill Cemetery (286 Pine Nook Rd, Deerfield, MA 01342).
In lieu of flowers, it is requested memorial contributions in her name be made to the "Friends of the Arms Library", 60 Bridge St., Shelburne Falls, MA 01370.
