He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Suchanek and Winifred "Betty" Pasquale (Shepard); his wife Beverly Ann Suchanek; and his siblings, Ronald "Joe" Suchanek, Ruth "Ginger" Whitney and Helen Hutchinson.
He is survived by: his children, Cherie McCarthy (Kevin Woods) of Greenfield and Richard Suchanek, Jr. (Terry) of Florida; his brothers, Thomas Suchanek of Greenfield, Raymond Suchanek of Georgia and Don Hutchinson of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Janell, Madison, Adam and Josh; his great grandchildren, Averyella, Landon, Morgan, Anna and Alex; and his pet Duke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
