With sadness, we share the passing of Robert LaMountain of Greenfield, Massachusetts. Robert, born on December 11, 1941, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph LaMountain and Katherine LaMountain (Matheson); his former wife Imelda "Honey" LaMountain (Cornelio); and his sister Nina M. Bowers (William Bowers). He is survived by: his wife Patricia LaMountain (DeCou); his children, Scott LaMountain (Kimberly (Almasy) LaMountain) and Greta Biagi (Damian Biagi); his former wife Judi Nydon; his stepdaughter Jaka Saarony (Gad Saarony); his grandchildren, Emily LaMountain, Connor LaMountain, Cameron LaMountain, Margaret LaMountain, AnnaMaria Biagi, Chiara Biagi, Shai Saarony, Sadie Saarony and Max Saarony; and his siblings, Dennis LaMountain (Camille Harris) and Virginia "Ginny" Larson (Andrew Larson). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A family service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the Green River Cemetery (56 Wisdom Way, Greenfield, MA 01301). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at the Hawks & Reed Performing Arts Center (289 Main St, Greenfield, MA 01301).
