He was predeceased by : his parents, Willett V. Forbes and Ruth M. Forbes; and his son Michael P. Forbes (Alice). He is survived by : his children, William Forbes (Susan), John Forbes, Jeff Forbes (Kathy), Mary Anne Delaney (Richard), Christopher Forbes, Mary Jo Forbes (Becky Holland), Patricia Deren (Tim), Maria Midgett (Bruce), Tim Forbes (Jessica), Christina Forbes (David Hovsepian) and Maura Hughey (Todd); his brother-in-law Paul Bassett; and his pet Ruby.
