Forsyth of Groveland, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 11, 2026 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold D. Forsyth and Hazel A. Forsyth (Chesley) of Marblehead, MA.; and his sister Virginia Carpenter (Hopkins). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Southwick of Swampscott; and his children, Gail (Stephen Vail) of Georgetown, MA, David (Carol) of Sand Point, Nancy (Eli Ingraham) of Framingham, MA and Martha (Chris Pond) of Manchester, NH.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, along with four nieces and a nephew.
