Dorothy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Dorothy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Dorothy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lora Davis (Bates) and Charles E. Davis; her husband Lincoln W. Davis, Jr.; and her daughter Donna Owen of Halifax. She is survived by: her children, Stuart Davis (RoseMarie) of Duxbury and Diane Roy (Robert) of Scituate. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and yes, five and maybe more great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the MacDonald Funeral Home (1755 Ocean St, Marshfield, MA 02050). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the Central Cemetery of Halifax (60 Hemlock Ln, Halifax, MA 02338).
