He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenica Abramo Lavoie and Gerard Lavoie; and his brother Roy Lavoie. He is survived by: his wife Helene Langley Lavoie (Pesant); his stepdaughters, Stephanie Langley (Christian Elkington) and Abigail Langley (Yannis Kyriakou); his grandson Miles; and his siblings, Theresa Collier (Mark), Laura Stinnette (Rich), Paulette Lavoie-Beebe (Mike), Annette Bilo (Tony), Jean Ayles (Tom), Carol Lavoie (Michael), Philip Lavoie and Joseph Lavoie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
