It is with sadness that the passing of Stephen L. Jones of Hamilton, Massachusetts is shared. Stephen, born on September 18, 1937, passed away on October 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius J. Jones and Alice Jones (Kowalski); his siblings, Joseph Jones, Barbara Hagan, Robert Jones and Walter Jones; and his parents-in-law, Leo and Catherine Marino.
He is survived by: his wife Diane S. Jones (Marino); his children, Stephen (Janet Jones), Susan (Benjamin Leeming) and Thomas (Lauren Jones); his grandchildren, Kristin, Mathhew Bickford of Danvers, Kayla, Jospeh Shaktman of Hamilton, Stephanie, David of Moriarty, Connor, Caitlyn Jones of Wenham, Asher Leeming of Rhode Island, Caleb Leeming of New York, Margaret Leeming, Corrine Leeming of Framingham, John and Ginger Jones of Wenham; his great grandchildren, Madison Bickford of Danvers, Charles, Eleanor Shaktman of Hamilton, Cameron and Abigail Moriarty of Merrimac; his sisters, Anne Roch, Kathleen Dawe, Margaret (Michael Gigante) and Alice Kenworthy; and his sister-in-law Judy Jones (Walter).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Campbell Funeral Home (525 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (50 Union St, South Hamilton, MA 01982). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (226 North St, Salem, MA 01970).
