She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethelbert Dunsmoor and Nellie Dunsmoor (Prentice); her husband Arthur Hicks; her son Alan Hicks; her siblings, Helen Dunsmoor and John Marshall Dunsmoor; and her half-brother Reginald Prentice.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Hicks (Susan) of East Hartford, CT, Cynthia Fallon (John) of Apalachin, NY and Sherryl Sparks of Chicopee, MA.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital, or a tree may be planted in Thelma's memory.
