He is survived by: his brother Richard Cooley (Carla) of Ridgefield, Connecticut.; his niece Beth Sweeney (James) of Hanover; and his nephews, Scott Gaudet (Lisa) of San Diego and Sean Gaudet (Jennifer) of Hanover. He is also survived by four great‑nieces, three great‑nephews, and one great‑great niece.
