He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel (Innis); his parents, Norman Straughn and Anna Straughn (Higgins); and his siblings, Norman, Paul, Robert, Richard, Anna Malloy and Ralph.
He is survived by: his children, William, Carolyn and Edward; and his sister Shirley Tobin.
