He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Smith and Jennie Louise Smith; and his brother Hugh Smith. He is survived by: his wife Patricia E. Smith (McManus); his sister Beverly Donovan; and his children, James H. Smith (Lynne E. Young) of Rockport, Theresa M. Young (Michael J. Young) of Hanover and Patricia A. Laroe (Christopher Laroe) of Hanover. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
