The passing of Maureen F. Goodwin of Hanover, Massachusetts leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 13, 2026. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John O'Neil and Doris O'Neil (Donahue); her husband John W. Goodwin (James Jay) of Hanover; her siblings, Janiece of Sumter, SC, Joanne (O'Neil), John Lynch of Wolfboro, NH and Joseph O'Neil of Boston, MA.; and her son Eric Reis of Rockland, MA.
She is survived by: her brother Lawerence O'Neil (Bonnie) of Cummings, GA; and her children, Cathy (Goodwin), Patrick Demeo of Halifax, MA, John, Marjorie Goodwin of Halifax, MA, Janet (Goodwin), James, Wanda Goodwin of Pembroke, MA, Maureen (Goodwin), Dennis Gilpin of Rockland, MA, Kevin and Julie Goodwin of Abington, MA.. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home (135 Union St, Rockland, MA 02370).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Activities Department of Southwood at Norwell 501 Cordwainer Drive Norwell MA, 02061.
