It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ellard of Hanover, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Francis and Jane Ellard (McHugh); and his siblings, Mary, Marguerite, Patricia, Barbara, Elizabeth and Kevin.
He is survived by: his sons, Nicholas Ellard of Hanover and Joseph Ellard of Salem; his friend Loraine Haverty-Sullivan; his siblings, Patrick Ellard (Mary) of Dedham, MA, John Ellard (Mary Barry) of Holbrook, MA and Francis Ellard; and his brother-in-law Michael Turner of Coronado, CA..
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Columbkille Church (321 Market St, Brighton, MA 02135).
Donations in Bob's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's association or a charity of one's choice.
