With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia G. Hyland in Hanover, Massachusetts, born in Hingham, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 16, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Childs Blanchard and Lucy Mayo Blanchard; and her husband Robert Cushman Hyland. She is survived by: her children, Robert Childs Hyland and Marcia Hyland Foley (Dennis); her grandsons, Joshua James Mele, Eric Robert Mele (Kristina), Robert Charles Moffett Hyland (Sara) and Benjamin James Hyland; her stepgrandchildren, Meghan Elizabeth Foley and Owen Matthew Foley; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jeremy Moffett-Smith, Padraig Dennis Foley and Darragh Lee Foley.
