William Dowd Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on September 6, 2025, at the age of 57, William Dowd of Hanover, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hull Dowd and Sheila Rabbit Dowd. He is survived by: his close friend Liz Tyszka Dowd; his wife Liz Tyszka Dowd; his daughters, Caitlin Dowd of Hanover and Colleen Dowd; his son-in-law William Thomas; his parents-in-law, Alfreda and Teddy Tyzska of Norwood, MA.; Maxi and Tito. He is also survived by nieces, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Billy's memory may be made to the Maura Wilkins Foundation, Attn Maribeth MacDonald, 25 Washington Street, Braintree, MA 02184 maurawilkinsfoundation.org and the Edwina Martin House at emhouse.org, two causes close to Billy and Liz's heart.
