Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Frances Carmela Benner of Hanson, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 100, on October 2, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Saverio Novio and Teresa Novio (DiGregorio); her brother Francis Novio (June Novio) of Middleboro; and her boyfriend William Holbrook. She is survived by: her children, Wayne Benner (Maureen) of Braintree, Donna Walsh (Robert) of Hanson and Donald Benner (Susan) of Marshfield; her siblings, Michael Novio of Braintree and Gloria Harris (late William) of Brockton; her grandchildren, Jennifer Bartkow (David), Michael Benner (Bridget), Joseph Kaplan (Sean), Matthew Benner (Erin), Robert Walsh (Michelle) and Daniel Benner; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Kayla, Riley, Cameron, Logan, Blake, Sophia, Emily, Westley, Mariella, Adelaide and Gwendolyn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home (845 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (856 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184).
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Norwell VNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Dr, Norwell, MA 02061.
