We are sad to announce that, on April 29, 2026 we had to say goodbye to John Gerard Currie of Hanson, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Currie and Christena Currie (MacMaster); and his siblings, Gary Currie and Joanne Currie. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Melissa Valachovic (Adam) of Hanson, MA and Mel Currie (Lindsey) of Northampton, MA.; his grandchildren, Braden, Cole, Sawyer, Reid, Vasilis and Remi; his sister Gail Keith (Arthur) of Holbrook, MA; his nieces, Shannon and Christina; and his aunt Lorraine Caffrey of West Roxbury, MA.. He is also survived by many sisters- and brothers-in-law, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Hanson Food Pantry (hansonfoodpantry.org) or Whitman-Hanson Dollars for Scholars (whitmanandhanson.dollarsforscholars.org).
