She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edward Martin; her children, Edward Martin Jr. (Deborah), Kenneth Martin (Maria) and Maryann Martin; her grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Angeline of Alex, JR and Wendy; her great grandchildren, Madison, Charlie and Abi; her pets, Thor and Alice; her parents, Charles Gilbert and Mary Gilbert; and her brothers, Carey Gilbert, Andrew Gilbert and Richard Gilbert. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sullivan Funeral Homes (814 Indian Head St, Hanson, MA 02341).
