He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Benson and Mary Benson (Splaine). He is survived by: his wife Marcia Benson; his children, Amy Stein of Northampton and Christopher Benson (Cindi MacKay) of Plymouth; his stepdaughters, BJ Senecal (Chris Senecal) of Rutland and Cristie Marsh of Paxton; his brother Richard Benson of Harwich; his grandchildren, Marlo and Louis Stein; his stepgrandchildren, Kaylie, Madison, Taylor, Alyssa, Chris, Sierra and Reese; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Charlotte.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Home (1158 Main St, Holden, MA 01520). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In honor of Bob's passion for salmon fishing and conservation, donations to the Atlantic Salmon Foundation, asf.ca, are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
