George Forester Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Forester of Harwich, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert M. Forester and Margaret M. Forester; his wife Diane Forester (Beach) of Harwich, MA; his children, Stephanie of Woonsocket, RI, Kristin (Tim McCarthy) of Grafton, MA and Sean; his granddaughters, Aria and Lily McCarthy; his siblings, Father Raymond, Al (Mary), Jim, Joe (Anne), John (Lyn), Ann Parsons (Bob) and Ellen Perregrino (Angie); and his sisters-in-law, Penny Forester, Barbara Fasano and Marybeth Beach. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Church (61 Canal Rd, Orleans, MA 02653). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joan of Arc (61 Canal Rd, Orleans, MA 02653), St Mary's Church (114 Princeton St, Jefferson, MA 01522) or the CJD Foundation at cjdfoundation.org.
