He was predeceased by : his parents, Margaret Duke (Melia) and Francis T. Duke Sr.; his wife Frances E. Duke (Sullivan) of Mary's Church; and his brother William E. Duke Sr.. He is survived by : his children, Kathleen Barthelmes (Robert Barthelmes) of California, MD, John F. Duke Jr. (Heather) and Elizabeth McDonnell (John McDonnell) of Bourne, MA.; his grandchildren, RJ, Zach, Kate Barthelmes, Johnny, Tori, Amanda Duke, Kylie, Ella and Nate McDonnell; his daughters-in-law, Liz Barthelmes (Barclay) and Karoline Barthelmes (Barkley); his siblings, Francis T. Duke (Jessica) and Mary E. Duke S. N. D. of Ipswich; and his in-laws, Maureen Duke of Shrewsbury, Roberta Duke of Holden, George F. Sullivan Jr. (Marilynn) of Chatham and Thomas Sullivan (Kathy) of Chatham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
