He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gilbert and Wanda "Kocot" Gilbert; and his cousins, Anthony Kocot, Donald Zebrowski and Edith Ostrowski.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean M. Halek; and his cousins, Kathleen Havlir, Henrietta Kocot and Henry J. Kocot.
