It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Astrid Merrick of Haverhill, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Christos and Helen Christos (Panagopoulos); her husband Elliott A. Merrick; and her brothers, Soteris and John Christos.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Bouchard (Jonathan) of Plaistow; her grandchildren, Kristin Guerriero (Thomas), Matthew Bouchard (Samantha) and Cameron Bouchard (Victoria); and her great grandchildren, Addison Bouchard, Ellie Bouchard and Rocco Guerriero.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church (156 Winter St, Haverhill, MA 01830). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
