She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Girard and Maybelle Girard (Munroe); the father of her children Robert Williams; and her husband James Clifton Phelps. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Neals (Edward Austin), Jeanne (Donald Kelly), Laurie (David Holt), Beth Tilden and Robert (Stacy Williams); her son-in-law Steven Tilden; her grandchildren, Christine Neals (Keagan Mahoney), Ryan (Allie Neals), Kathryn, Jeremy, P. K. Kelly, Benjamin, Julia Holt, Jonathan Tilden (Meg Leno) and Alex (Hollie Tilden); her great grandchildren, Levi and Miles Tilden; her sister Patricia Saunders; and her sister-in-law Aspacia Girard. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
