He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Bower and Eva Bower (Robichaud); his parents-in-law, James M. Rice and Regina Rice (Legare); his daughter Theresa A. Spencer (Bower); and his siblings, Barbara Doyle (Bower), David Bower, Dorothy Thompson (Bower), Frederick Bower and Robert Bower.
He is survived by: his wife Alice R. Bower (Rice); his children, Michael J. Bower (John J. Shi), Mary E. Bower (Kathy A. Hassey), Stephen C. Bower (Aia Bower) and Peter J. Bower; his daughter-in-law Stacey McCabe Bower; his grandchildren, Kelsi Obin (Spencer), Tyler Bower, Allyson Spencer, Ollie Bower and Tess Bower; his sister Sally Rousseau (Bower); and his family, Franklin, Beverly, Randolph and Hanover.
