He was predeceased by: his father Donald E. McArdle, Sr.; and his sister Marie. He is survived by: his mother Althea Suapaia McArdle; his siblings, Donald McArdle, Jr. (Colleen), James McArdle (Julia), Thomas McArdle (Kim) and Leilani McArdle; his friend Eleanor Heintz; Lauren, Dylan, Brady and Brandon. He is also survived by many friends, family, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Habitat for Humanity, in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
