He was predeceased by : his parents, Ruth Lawrence Whible and Stanley Brewster; his stepfather Augustus Whible; his brother-in-law David Corthell; his brother Wayne Brewster; his niece Karla Ann Allen; and his father-in-law Sidney Corthell.

He is survived by : his wife Susan Lynn Brewster (Corthell); his children, Joshua (Amanda Brewster) and Jacqueline Brewster (Henry Durst); his grandchildren, Evan, Jennifer, Shamous, Levi and Charlotte; his daughter Jessica Marsinelli; his siblings, Stan Brewster, Michael Loveland, Jon (Dee Whible), Charles Brewster and Edna Brewster Duffy; his mother-in-law Joann Corthell; his siblings-in-law, Scott (Michelle Corthell), Keith (Andrea Corthell), Richard Corthell, Charron Corthell Dean, Daniel (Becky Corthell) and Ann Corthell (Dave Spencer); his close friends, Patrick Perkins and Daniel Crowley; his uncle Bob Lawrence; and his aunt Judy Lawrence. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
