He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva R. Stevens and Mansur K. Stevens; and his siblings, Mansur "Steve" (late Deleen) of Florida, Harriet Hannigan (late Thomas) of Stoneham and Elizabeth "Betty" Stevens of Salem.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Daley); his children, John D. Jr. of Haverhill, Lynne (Glenford Nixon) of Pittsfield, MA, Christopher (Jenny Stevens), Susan (Aaron Lancaster) and Andrew (Jessica Stevens); his grandchildren, Kerien Gil (Camilo), Lily Stevens, Ty, Jack, Abby Lancaster of Massachusetts, Brooklyn, Benjamin, Reese Stevens of Vermont, Samantha and Matthew Stevens of New Jersey; his siblings, Barbara Larsen (late Harry) of Salem, Carolyn "Kay" Rozzi (late Albert) of Tilton, Charles (Mel) of Colorado and Thomas (late Nancy) of Salem; and his siblings-in-law, Sheila (Daley), Bernie Field of Byfield, MA, Jack, Laurie Daley of Plantation, FL, Chris (Daley) and Scott Herman of Newton, NH..
