With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Demaris (Haverhill, Massachusetts), who passed away on March 10, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph DeMaris and Elizabeth DeMaris (Colantoni); and his siblings, Richard DeMaris, Marie Serano and Elizabeth Olsen.

He is survived by: his wife Carlene "Penney" DeMaris (Noyes); his children, Michelle R. Fleming (Mark), John K. DeMaris (Julie), Elizabeth A. Stempien Jennifer M. (Camarato) and Bryan M. Roe (Rachel Therriault); his stepdaughter Stacey Guptill of Haverhill; his grandchildren, Daniel Mayo Jr., Stephanie Martin, Brandi DeMaris-Welch, Jeramie (Lauren DeMaris), Kaleigh Flemiing, Markie Flemiing, Ashleigh DeMaris, Kevin Galva, Morgan Moran, Keegan Moran, Jack Graham, Max Graham and Benjamin Camarato; his great grandchild Elianna Rivera; and his sister-in-law Debra Oickle.

Donations may be made in his memory to the Haverhill Firefighters Relief Fund, 75 Kenoza Avenue, Haverhill, MA 01830.
