He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rogers and Ethel Rogers of Newburyport, MA.; his wife Katherine Rogers of Maine; his daughter Lorraine Bonacorse of Haverhill; his stepdaughter Laurie Loring of Maine; and his siblings, Ronald Rogers, Ethel Brown, Anita Wilson, Jackie Travers, Clayton Rogers and Emma Jean.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Godso, Gail Sheldon, Sheary Adams, April Bisson, Leon Rogers, Jr., William Loring and Denise Loring; and his siblings, Lorraine Ricker, Beverly Rogers, Emily Simpson and Emiline White. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
