With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mabel Jane Deveau of Haverhill, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Armand E. Deveau; her parents, Charles F. Allen and Clarice Allen Holmes (Taker); and her siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Teague, Norman Taker, Charles "Oscar" Allen, Mary Whittier, Douglas "Buddy" Allen, Johnny Allen, Alice Muller, Viola Carter and Pauline Kershaw.
She is survived by: her children, A. Edward Deveau (Judith) of Haverhill, MA, Denise J. Martin (Paul) of Haverhill, MA and Nicole Zangari (Michael) of Haverhill, MA.; her grandchildren, Casey Karos (James) of Hampstead, NH, Nicholas Deveau (Katie) of Amesbury, MA, Jacalyn Deveau (Robert Connelly) of Lawrence, MA, Joseph Martin (Logan) of Plaistow, NH, Kimberly Thistlewood (Tyler) of Conway, NH, Jaylin Deveau of Haverhill, MA and Dimarnae Deveau (Jennifer Watkins) of Haverhill, MA.; her great grandchildren, Maverick, Emerson, Becket Martin of Plaistow, NH, Olivia, Edward James of Amesbury, MA, Jamie, Maggie Karos of Hampstead, NH, Riley and Robert Connelly of Lawrence, MA.; and her siblings, Jean DiFloures of Haverhill, Dale Deveau (Antoinette) of Haverhill, MA and Richard Deveau (Edna Hannon) of Wareham, MA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
